At least they have already started processing yours. They rec. my app last nov. 7,2013 and that's it, haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully i'll have my status just like yours too.

We have mails to our current address (since 2012 November). We had a wedding ceremony in November so I will send some of those pics as well. We have christmas cards for each other each year. I hope this is enough proof...

The first thing i'm going to do when we get DM is book a 3 week vacation. Japan for two weeks, then back to vancouver for a few days, then off to Cancun for a week. can not wait.

Yes, you are right, only on my side, as a sponsor. My boyfriend side is still showing they received on Nov 28, 2014...

Heads up! Cic received our application for spousal sponsorship last nov.13,2013. Called cic today to ask if open work permit has been issued. Officer said owp was approved and mailed yesterday ;D

Not yet. Will do it once cic requests for it. Probably they will send us request for medical after we get the 1st stage approval.

I just called CIC and agent said I have to wait for their instructions now to do the medical tests.
Is this true?

I am a dec 2013 applicant and didn't submit medicals along with the sponsorship application.

That's one of the oldest lies that those USELESS agents will tell you . They told me the same and I still went ahead and did my medicals on January 2014 , then I called cic the next week and they confirmed the they received my medicals .

I can attest to that. In my opinion you should just do them and have the doctor send it in.. so when an agent opens your file again, they have everything at hand to make that decision for you
