yes my other half receive an email too saying he have met the FEderal requirements for eligibility as a sponsor...do I have to do medical and police clearance again

It should say on your email what documents you need to send. If not then you don't send it. Congratulations!

Congrats to everyone who has recieved AIP! Good to see so much more positivity here. We still haven't received the rest of the AIP, only sponsorship approval on October 6th. Will try to get our lawyer to find out what the hold up is, as we would like to hear if we should expect OWP soon! Hope that things keep moving here :)
 
Daizey just wanna ask something, the letter from cic was address to you or to your lawyer? Did the cic office directly send the email to you? Thanks daizey
 
Hey someone please help me, I received so many letters from cic one that states I the applicant have met the requirements to apply under spousal sponsorship one for medical requested, one with details of how medical must be done etc, can someone please tell me what does the words say of the AIP letter.

The one that states "You have met the requirements" is AIP.

Did you send medicals with your application? If not, CIC is simply requesting them now...

What other letters did you get?

I did not receive a letter that particularly says you have been approved in principle someone that received aip in the past 2 weeks, did you get a letter that say you have been approved in principle

It was sent to our lawyer, we have him as our contact for CIC so we never receive any emails, all information goes straight to him through snail mail. Sometimes I regret that decision, lol.
 
i will do my medical next week , can you recommend a doctor that charge less because last time it cost us $233 in ottawa...or is it the usual amount for medical .ty .

In Montreal, they charged me only 150$. Better to call and ask the price for few clinics before making an appointment.
