We just asked for our notes through privacy act, we sent 2 requests 1 for my husband and 1 for me. we'll see if the are actually working on our file. Also use this link https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx, if you want to ask cic why the hell they're not processing your application since it is past the processing time.

you can get a one time 90 day extension of Alberta health if you have an application in progress that might be enough time for you

Can anyone tell me if the processing time for 2nd stage for approval of spouse is on track? I am a Canadian sponsoring my Italian husband. The last we heard was Feb 6 when his open work permit was issued and medical papers were received. It would be coming up to 8 months come September. Does anyone suggest that we call in to inquire? Thank you and hope everyone's applications are coming along.

you alrdy got DM so stage 2 is done / u should contact local office by sent e-mail to notice this issue if your partner didn't get any landing letter
