Updates:

Sponsorship app received April 25, 2013.
E-case shows processing since May 3, 2013.

Application for permanent residence (applicant) shows Application received April 25, 2013.

When I check e-cas for my sponsor (my wife) it just says application received and not " in process" like many others ITT and says application for applicant for permanent residency has been received. Do you think I should contact CIC about it? I know ecas isn't very reliable, but just curious to know what that means in regards to my application. Thoughts anyone?

Okay, ... it's official. We have our AIP letter and OWP. Both came in today's mail in same envelope.

For the spreadsheet... please add:

AIP - May 10-2013
OWP - May 10-2013 (valid for 1 year)

Medical and Police were sent with application (also OWP with application)

Congratulations dawlex! I have checked this thread occasionally but I guess you are the first person got AIP & OWP? That's great!!! I'm happy to hear the processing time got faster!

I received an email March 15th saying the received my application March 5th. So is my AOR March 1st or March 15th!!

That is the problem I cannot see it in my ecas!! So how else could I know!!! ?

Ecas isn't reliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Mine will randomly not work sometimes despite working the week before. I wouldn't stress too much.

Wolanila has asked for someone to take over the SS as he doesn't have time to update it. Someone needs to volunteer or no one will get added.

Hey dawlex, why was your so quick? it was inland hey? As the timeline online states 6 months for sponsor then 8 months for application (or the other way around) ... should we get our hopes up, or was yours a special case ??

I have the same problem, I received the AOR but the freaking e-cas only shows up when I log in as the sponsor (my wife), once there it shows both of our applications, but only says it was received in March.
I see a lot of people here who sent it after and already see "processing" when they log in...
This is nerve wrecking, seriously...

Not to worry,mine still says application received on both as well(application recieved Nov 16th last year)even though they already started processing my app on Jan 9th according to the letter they had sent me and from talking to cic!-Not all officers update the ECAS so am not worried about it
