One loophole I can see on your situation is that you declare your girlfriend as your fiance on one of your last visa application. Since there is no fiance sponsorship class, only spouse'/conjugal partner/common-law partner classes in Canadian Immigration. I believe that you get married first before you submit your application and provide credible proofs that your relationship is genuine.. I also believe that you can apply for common-law if you have live together for at least one year and you can prove that you did so.Frank25 said:

the prof, you are more then welcome to belong to as many threads as you want. LOL. You will start to notice that they will all be getting approved before you so it may get a little frustrating. I abandoned the March applicants as soon as I found the Inland 2011 thread. LOL. Also, you do not need to extend your status if you sent in the OWP. I have asked many CIC agents this question and they all said that we do not need to extend status and I even sent in the OWP after we sent in the application. My husbands extension expires today and we are not going to extend. he is on implied status now.
phois, the $200 is a restoration of status fee. I forgot to include something for my husbands extension and they denied it and I had to pay the $200 and send in the entire file again plus the information that was missing. But, your situation is different because you paid. Hmmm, keep us posted on what happens. I think I did attach the receipt but I cannot remember.

Angtao, I don't know if that term is address to the sponsor''s approval, I only know that Im been approved by CIC... this is an excerpt from the CIC Guide "If your sponsorship application is approved, CPC-V will send you a letter telling you how to proceed with the MICC. You must attach a copy of the letter to the undertaking application that you submit to the MICC." Yes, in the CIC letter they gave me a ID #, went to ECAS in the first page I could see my husband's name, then when I click in the "in process" link it says that my file is in Process since October 3rd.. MICC takes 2 weeks to approve the Sponsor, then informs CIC and the sponsor. Once CIC gets MICC answer proceed to send the OWP and a later with Decision Made
