I don't think so canadiancitizen. I don't think your going to get AIP that soon. I still think that you have to wait like the rest of us. I could be wrong though.
Buima, I am hoping for a big jump but I think it will just be a disappointment tomorrow. They had one less day to work because of Thanksgiving

So basically I called an agent and they said I need to pay the balance online of $125 because they did not receive a receipt. However, I did it online and it says you don't need to send a receipt. The letter says that it includes some receipt package to send back but I only got the letter.angtao said:
I don't know if it matters, but I did have a receipt with my PR application which I don't think they checked yet. This is all confusing and I don't see an option anywhere to pay the balance in my mycic account. I can't get ahold of an agent, please help. x-x

hello guys!just updated my forum right now and finally were doing great already!and i just checked the cic website this morning and found out that lots of changes already,regarding the new forms in applying permanent residency here in canada.and just wondering to ask,cause i send my spousal inland application last june 24 AND start processing june29.my question is that
1. just wanna know if it will not affect my application papers,which i used the old forms before?cause this was change only last july18,2011.
2. and i am on 4th months already of waiting,and i just signed into e-cas and found out that my application is IN-PROCESS and until now,i didn't hear anything from cic then.letter?nothin,phonecalls of cic,nothin, so i felt like..are they still working on my papers?lol!
i hope i can hear from them soon and i am worried already coz i dont have any news from them anymore....
hoping that there will be a change on it already..
but i have to stick here in the forum in order for me to absorb more ideas regarding this topics.thank you guys and goodluck to all of us!

angel, you will not hear from CIC at all for 11 months. Hang tight, you will probably hear something next May. Enjoy the winter.

It is nice to se that there are more and more people joining. I was reading lots of forum postings that it is not good to send an application OWP after the main PR application. Well, I am that one "silly" person - who did exactly as they ask not to ??? . Well, I sent my main appl. and later in 3 weeks apprxmtly they sent me a letter asking to edit my employment details, I filled in the form required and added an application for OWP, thinking it will be added to the same file. Well, now after reading that this is bad and can be denied, I am worried. If anyone has info in regards this issue please let me know... thanks ))) and good luck to all of us.

Angtao do you know how long before the AIP stage,
cari, look on the CIC website. Every Wednesday they update the files that they are working on.
Your looking at 11 months from when your app was received.

Myself and Angus have both sent our OWP after our application. Mine got there last Monday on Oct.4 but has not been opened yet.

2) should i send my pr pics with application or that also ca be sent at a later date?
3) i knw its says first stage approval takes 10-11 mnths but is it 10-11 mnths after they recieved my application or after they start processing ?
4) when you get first stage approval can u get your ohip along with owp?
