Since you only submitted in June, it might be too early to see anything in your FOSS notes. There might be a few notes here and there but don't get disappointed if there are nothing in your FOSS yet. We were on our 7th month of waiting when we requested for it.

Shitty 4 day jump. Now we are are more then 11 months. Soon it will go to 1 year. Instead ofe getting better it is getting worse.

processing started on jan 13, 2011
info requested received on april, 13, 2011
info requested received on oct 4, 2011

now, apart from medicals received on april 13, 2011, what else could they have received on oct 4, 2011??? i understand second stage processing checks all security checks and i submitted my out of country police clearance certificate in july 2011, though i sent it to t9c 1w3 by mistake instead of t9c1w5. im wondering wat else are they saying they recently received? any ideas anyone? thanks.

me too... is been a while that CIC is working on nov and dec applications, now January!!! Yahoo!!!!

Hi, I have a question. me and my fiancé are getting married at the justice of the peace because my family lives over sea and we both one them to be here, so our weeding won't be any big ceremony, but we are planning to celebrate another weeding in my home country with my family and her family. so, is it mandatory to have like a big weeding and reception and all thoses stuffs? I'll really appreciate your help.

Does anybody know what is the most common reason why they refuse sponsorship from Inland? and what is recomended to do so everything works out fine? I ll appreciate your help.

I noticed that the most common reason that a sponsorship application to be refuse is that they found out that the relationship is not genuine. So if your relationship or marriage have loopholes that which they can easily determine I suggest that fix all the loopholes first before you lodge your application. Doesn't matter if it's a grand or simple celebration, Immigration can find the loopholes one way or the other.

We are so happy, yesterday we received from CIC the letter we need to send to MICC so Quebec could approve me as a sponsor ... They also gave me an ID number, so I went to check my ECAS and bingo... it shows that my application has been sent to MICC and is in process. these are good news!!! Under my ECAS page says:

We received your application to sponsor husban's name on May 10, 2011.
We started processing your application on October 3, 2011.

canadian, how do you check the sponsors page on e-cas?

Frank, I would say that if you cannot have a wedding then you should have a dinner or some sort of party to show that you guys are married. Maybe get dressed up and go to a nice restaurant with some friends. Also, make sure you have a lot of proof that this is a genuine relationship. If they don't see a wedding then maybe they will believe the other strong proof that you have.

Can anyone else comment on this?

canadian, how do you check the sponsors page on e-cas?

The same way you check the Applicant, I use the number displayed on my letter... and insert my family name, birthday and country...
