Hope So. We are waiting from long time for FSW.Nope, there will be FSW
They will most likely achieve the required total, but not following the right distribution. Getting PRs out of all possible categories to reach their desired total. This week they are landing 20k asylum, they resumed parents program, started finalizing some Outland spouses.
In ask kubier group there was some post relating to FSW draws that the minister wants temporary residents to become permanent for this year and next
Refugees have their separate quota under the 401k immigration target plan and the target allocated to refugees this year is around 60k. They probably wouldn’t even meet this target despite the 20k we are expecting. PGP program is already under Family category of the immigration plan, so nothing new. I don’t expect the targets of these separate categories to be met this year let alone having a surplus to compensate for the deficit expected from the economic class category

Totally agreed. They would have missed the targets this way but right now they're not making any profit from immigration and harming the system by PR-ing under-qualified and aged people (no disrespect to them but yeah). They should've done what you said and then explained to the public it is difficult to maintain the quality of the immigration system in a pandemic while also meeting the targets. Nobody would object to that.
Don’t just read rumors or misinterpreted statements. I read the full article (Reuters) and towards the end it was mentioned that this system of immigration could continue as long as the borders remain closed. Are you expecting the borders to remain closed till 2023?

Kubeir in his weekly round up he was mentioning PPRs will trickle in September and rain in October and thereafter.
