Why wouldn’t you just submit your IELTS/ CELPIP test from your PR application and call it a day?

It has consistently been said throughout the PR application phase, but for the sake of those going through Citizenship applications… ATIP requests do not accelerate a stalled application. Different departments handle application processing vs compilation of data for ATIPs.

Why did you apply if you hadn’t met (or exceeded) the basic residency obligation?

Not really anything that should reasonably concern you. It simply means that certain sections of the CSIS notes you received were redacted so as to not reveal investigative techniques or information gathering methods (supposedly) related to security screening.

Final update, Oath officially marked as Completed in the tracker today. Time to go apply for a passport.

Was it an RCMP Certified criminal record check (i.e. One that required your fingerprints vs just a name-based record check?) If not, then the PCC you have is useless for the purpose of a fingerprint request from IRCC.

That’s more than enough time. And even if it wasn’t, you’d postpone your travel, not the oath ceremony.

Oath Ceremony done. Took a little longer due to almost 400 people being sworn in and collecting certificates. It was fun though. Congrats to you all, and hopefully those still waiting don’t have much longer to go!

RCMP, CSIS and CBSA are considered third party agencies to IRCC, hence the terminology.

It indicates that Decision Finalized (DF) and for your ceremony proceedings (correspondence, updating of GCMS and tracker, etc) to be granted.
