I'd kill to become an applicant. Try waiting for an ITA, it drains your soul. Tbh you wouldn't see me stressing if I had an app that's going as slow as everybody else's.
My anxiety started the minute WES completed my evaluation within 10days.It further heightened when my IELTS writing component increased from 6.5 to 7.5 after i requested for a remark and lets not even talk about how i felt when i declined my first ITA October 27 and went through "hell" for three weeks because Ray of Hope forum members swore that FSW was going to be cancelled and only French folks were needed.

Fortunately, there was a draw the next Thursday but i missed out because of tie-breaker.

Anyway, ITA received and application submitted and now i am stuck with an RR because of a tiny silly mistake that has earned most people an ADR/PFL and even a refusal.

Not saying my situation is better or waiting for an ITA is, either way its a shitty situation and we need IRCC to fix up.

Ok I don't want an ITA now. Shit's stressful.
Yeah, man. It's even worse to be a post AOR. You have realistic expectations of making it to Canada and you are waiting and waiting and waiting for that golden email. Imagine having such high expectations and being disappointed continuously for months

You r wrong buddy.. i am April’20 AOR.. n i have lost all the patience i had.. ‘whether you throw a knife at a watermelon, or throw a watermelon at a knife, its the watermelon that gets cut’.. waiting for ITA or COPR, its ‘the wait’ that kills
It's the wait plus no proper communication or news about PR applicants by IRCC, it takes all your patience.

Well, before applying people said (IRCC on twitter inclusive) that everything is locked at AOR but turns out they used the exchange rate for the day my application was reviewed and thanks to my country's ever declining currency, i didn't meet the minimum required POF. My buffer amount wasn't enough so technically i owe them about 165CAD :D
I submitted Nov 24,2021 sent updated POF via webform January 11,2021 and my application was reviewed by an agent on January 18th 2021. They totally ignored the updated bank statement.

Our exchange rate is a nightmare. I don’t even want to think of it yet.

I'm a few days out from exactly one year since my AOR, and honestly i just gave up hearing anything from IRCC about a couple of months ago. Constantly checking your profile or calling them, just to find out that nothing has moved is deflating. Best to focus on life and hopefully get a pleasant surprise at some point

Last time I heard from IRCC was when they sent that generic email about not being able to provide accurate processing times. It was a week after I submitted my biometrics.
I was focusing on my life till April this year lol, but when you stop hearing about your application anymore you start feeling anxious. I never called or raised a web form, I just ordered GCMS only once to know about the status and found out my file has not been touched after the biometrics update.

LMAO..it's not that bad.
Lets not forget that some people applied in October 2020 and received PPR two months after -FSW Outland
I had the same worry. My buffer passed barely. Currency exchange is a nightmare when you don’t know when they will review your eligibility. One of the reasons I ordered GCMS early on was for this.

It's always advisable to keep a buffer of about 1000 CAD because of fluctuating currency exchange rates.

Why not keep money as CAD or USD in the first place? That's what I do.
