Hey guys,

I just got an email from the CIC and I thought it would be my SA they were sending me.... but no. instead they sent me a letter notifying me about how I FORGOT a page in my application (I don't know how that could have happened!!!)

I'm going crazy right now, I will be sending it ASAP but will this delay anything for me :'(

Well, I think it already has. They wouldn't take the time to mail a letter and wait for your additional forms if it were complete. Sorry. That doesn't sound nice the way I typed it. But the SA is of course being affected time wise, so just get it to them as soon as you can and they'll get your application back into processing, instead of (possibly) being on hold waiting to hear from you. - I'm really only guessing ... but I'm guessing if you send them the additional form, and if there are no questions or reasons for delay, it should not cause an excessive time lag. You'll probably think I'm crazy... but its the 5th page (the last page) of IMM 0008 Application: A completed Generic Application Form for Canada.
Since we completed all the applications in Egypt...some of the pages got mixed up together, I put them all back together n their proper form, and there was one very similar to it that I added in.. But thankfully I have the one they need (signed just in case) so I guess I will be sending it in to them today.

Very unfortunate that this had to happen..

Just a little update, a few minutes ago I just spoke to someone from my MP's office and asked for more details about her conversation yesterday with someone from CPC-M (the actual Mississauga office, NOT the 1-888-242-2100 Montréal call centre).

Basically, the CIC rep looked for my package tracking number in their database, and she found my tracking number! Which means that my package IS at CPC-M, but for some odd reason the warehouse staff might've forgotten to bring my parcel to the appropriate processing agent...*sigh* annoying I know, but that's a relief!
And they're trying to find out why my application wasn't logged and entered into the system...

Hoping to hear from them soon...

Yes strange! ;D Forgetting it...?!?! Wow...! ???

I think many things could've happened...perhaps the CIC was overloaded with work and they transferred my parcel to Ottawa (a "load redistribution program"), like what happened to this lady:

Orrrrrr.....may be my package was returned......which I doubt, because it's been almost 2 months and I didn't get it back. Plus, all the forms are 100% complete, signed and dated. Plus, the call centre agents I spoke to mentioned that if it was returned, there would've been a note in their system, but there isn't any, which means most likely it wasn't returned to me...

So I'll keeping waiting for further updates...!

And I JUST sent it!! It should be there by tomorrow morning, I'm really hoping nothing else goes wrong...

I am not ready to wait any longer than it should!!

All good! At least you know after this that its just waiting until the end and no more weird emails about missing things!
