I (the sponsor) am Somali-Canadian (born and raised in Canada)
My husband is also Somali

Ps: Somalia is located in East Africaaaaaaa 8) ...specifically the horn of Africa

Well nice to meet you Kuudir2 and spouse from Somalia. of course I know Somalia but your country is one of the very few African countries I haven't been. Here in Greece we have many Somali people unfortunately not living a nice life due to discriminating immigration and social unrest from the austerity issue!

God bless you both

I knew it I knew it! A Filipino gets a Filipina! :)

Couple of months ago I was in Clark (my 7th time in your lovely country) Actually i bought me a Cherry phone from the mall there! Amazing smart phone for only 75 euros (100$) in the box! Also I love the Boracay rum (i am not a drinker but I like it)
Manila of course is a different story! Beautiful location but terrible traffic conditions.. 2 hours in the car just to get across from my hotel to the airport. A 3 lane street suddenly becomes a 6 lane street.

Masaya akong makilala kayo

You should definitely visit Finland or any other Nordic country! :) It's beautiful in there especially during the summer time.
Wow! We Finns really like Greece, too bad I haven't been able to travel there yet!! Also one of my best friend's ex-boyfriend were half Greek half Finn. :)

Exactly!! I have some few friends or maybe acquaintances who asked me why I needed to import a husband while there are lots of guys here in Canada. I honestly don't know what to tell them... It's like hey, happen to know the word L-O-V-E???

I dated a lot in Canada before moving to India for work. No one treated me with as much respect and made me feel as loved as my husband. You can find love anywhere, as the cliche goes "love knows no boundaries" It can't be more true in our cases! ;)

LOL. I haven't even been away for a long time, but when I went back to Manila after 4 years, the traffic is still traumatizing. :-X
Cool, we spent our honeymoon in Subic (really close to Clark).

Before, whenever I see kids of my Filipino friends who married white guys, I kind of second thinking whether I should go for Filipino or not. Filipino mixed with white or other race actually is a very beautiful product. LOL :P :P :P

Well, I guess culture is quite a big factor (at least for me) next to faith (I am a Christian) when it comes to marriage.

I am a Canadian- from Ottawa. Well born and raised in small town Sudbury but moved to Ottawa to do my University in 1995. Been calling it home every since. My husband is Indian from Hyderabad, which is the south east of India.

Yeah maybe you should too! Lovely Aegean, Ionian seas!
Back in the 50's & 60's many Greeks took on the immigration path and spread out to the four corners (or are there more) of the earth. But to the north mostly in Sweden!

By the way...it's been quiet on the AOR and SA front...hope we start hearing some good news for the rest of the week. Is CIC taking a vacation? LOL!

Filippinos are such die hearts for fun. And family, And Friends

Thank you very much messenger, I am very happy to see you know about Somalia!

Many people have no clue where it is located...or anything about Somalia for that matter!

And I am assuming you travel often, because you know a lot about different countries and ethnicities, :)

It seems that Somali people all over the world are not exactly handling living circumstances in the different countries.
And I feel that after the Civil War it made the situation a lot worse..

It is very disappointing to see the amount of discrimination that is still out there in the world. And its not only a problem in Greece, rather it is a problem in many places (some worse than others!)

Iay, I feel like a mix of two races always has a BEAUTIFUL end product! lol
