GCMS notes state that a meds extension was requested and extended. There now valid until Aug. 20, 2014

Beirut VO emailed us last week asking for an updated police certificate + translation to be sent by email.
They gave us 15 days to comply with their request.
Needless to say we sent it back the next day.

We are still waiting for our GCMS notes.
Should receive them some time around early February.

That means things started moving again inshallah. I also sent in a request on January 20th to get a new set of notes.

I have been checking everything. 2 more weeks until I get the new set of notes.

Im waiting for my notes should get them around feb 15 hopefully , no call or updated info yet !!! good luck to every one w nshalla soon every one will get an answer going to lebanon though in March , my husband hasn't seen our baby girl yet nshalla yredoulo khabar while im there would be great comming back together

We received application for permanent residence on August 6, 2013.

We started processing application on November 26, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

they transferred his file i guess to Beirut after this.

December 17,2013,Embassy in Beirut called my husband wanting Schedule A form again

Jan 4 2014 they called him back wanting more info on what he did before military service

January 15,2014 requested notes

Hi MisoDiab,

I hope you have a great safe trip and inshallah we all get our visas soon.

As for me, not much requested - does not seem that they started processing my husband's application yet.
The last email we got from them is when they transferred the application to Beirut back in September, nothing much after that.

In the last notes I got in November, they only had the medical passed and valid, eligibility, security and criminality were not started yet.

Hopefully in this set of notes things should look better... Good luck to everyone as this process really teaches patience

Nothing new in my notes.
Exact same as my last set of notes ordered in October.

No mention of the documents requested (updated police certificate, etc...), all checks are still not started (medical, security, etc...) and the due date is still October 30.

The notes were requested on January 6 and processed on January 8 2014.
The request for updated police certificate was received around 2 weeks later, which is why they are not showing...

As usual, nothing I can do other than wait a bit. 4-6 weeks, and order a new set of notes, hoping it will clarify the situation.

guyz i need your help please.....i was going to get a passport for my 3 month old daughter and they required my husband to go to he embassy to sign some kind of form to confirm his signature since he is not in Canada and not a Canadian , any info about that? Passport Canada told me he has to wait for a file number and take this file number to the embassy , i was trying to call them but no luck !!!!

MisoDiab, what province are you from if you don't mind me asking? I took my daughter when she was 3 months to visit my husband and they let me do her passport without his signature. However, before I left I faxed him a affidavit for him to sign to have him on her birth certificate, but I did the passport way before that.

Hey Natti, Ontario, i provided them with the copy of his passport , but they wont accept it in any way
i already have her birth certificate and they didnt need a signature from him
