Beirut FAM applicants forwarded to CPP-Ottawa

Hey Natti, Ontario, i provided them with the copy of his passport , but they wont accept it in any way
i already have her birth certificate and they didnt need a signature from him

In Alberta, they accepted the birth certificate with just my name on it. I got her passport and traveled with no questions even asked about him until I arrived back to Canada! As long as your name is on it they shouldn't deny you. Maybe try another location but don't show them his passport. Just tell them your currently sponsoring him and your going to visit him. That's what I told them.

I think this is the only really quiet thread because we never hear anything.

This doesn't seem to be a fair process.

I googled this and it looks like that BF are dates that keep the file active. so they are follow up dates or due dates I think. any similar timeline plz , i want to add that i have applied for a visit visa to visit my husband and they refused me 3 times. do u think that this will affect my application process badly?

in fact their reasons every time were meaningless and confusing ...our applications were very mbakaleh as we say in lebanon and we didnt leave any space for them to refuse my visit visa. in the first try they said that my travel history and my family ties in canada since i have no travel history and i have never travelled before and i have no relatives in canada.
in the second try they said that i didnt convince them enough that i will leave canada at the end of the visa time. and in the third try they said that i have no sufficient money eventhough my husband has sent them a lettter that he will sponsor me and he is responsible of my staying there and we have showed them his bank account 70000 $ but they refused our application and we still waiting .i feel like they have no convincing reasons they only refuse our applications because i dont know why .

Sue89 this refusal won't affect your sponsorship application. I know people that tried visitor while having sponsorship app in process got refused then got their visa after. You know visitor visa is very random and it has 50%chance. Don't feel bad it is all good. They give random reasons which don't make any sense arab21 applied for sponsorship for his wife in may 2013 and 2 months or 3 months later he applied for visitor visa during the strike and she got a visa for six months I think. I think it is luck and all the reasons they give you for refusal are usually random in my opinion.

Sorry to hear that, I agree with canadien_leb that this refusal will not affect on your sponsorship application, try to send an email to the Beirut embassy asking about the way that you can visit your Husband in Canada because your sponsorship application will take more than 1 and half years to be finished and you cannot wait this duration to see your husband, also describe to them that you had tried three times before to submit a visit application and it was refused.

Omg !!! are you sure ? i thought it will take only 10 months because a friend of mine got her visa after 10 months wallah thats unfair . i will send an email to the embassy and we ll see inshalah.

you can find the processing time for the Sponsored person here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp, i had made my application in October 2012 and i am still waiting : /
