Beirut FAM applicants forwarded to CPP-Ottawa

What kind of form did they send you? is this something you were missing in your application?
I didnt get anything today. I am a march applicant and I think you are a february.

Anyway, it all depends on what they want in these forms.

yes you are right my file was transferred to cpp ottawa in feb, they are asking if my wife did ever had a government job or had been in any political party and if she travelled outside lebanon in the last 10 years and how many passports she has (expired and valid passports) etc , and i remember we did include all these infos when we applied

It looks like they are working on security checks etc... Did you ever try to order your case notes. I would do that maybe you can find out what step they are at but I would wait couple of weeks as I think I ordered mine too early and they looked exactly like the ones in November.

Are there any Syrians in here who could answer something for me? Or possible Lebanese, since I think the paperwork is similar..

I am applying for my (Syrian) husband's PR. Do we need to include the 'Khraj Qaid' or will the Birth Certificate be enough?

when we applied for the sponsorship we didnt sunmit the ikhraj qaid because they already asked for a copy of the passport , ikhraj qaid 3a2ili and birth certificate . You can check the cheklist of the documents of the sponsorship on the CIC website to make sure .

The checklist just says "civil documents" such as birth certificate. We have the 'bayan 3ili' the birth certificate. I guess it would be fine without the khraj qaid? If we get the khraj qaid from Damascus it will show my husband as still single (there hasn't been any network between Homs and Damascus in 2 years!) so it's better for us NOT to get the khraj qaid, as he'd have to go to his village to get it.

Dont worry trust me the photocopy of the passport is enough and the other documents that u mentioned i submitted my sponsorship application without the ikhraj quaid and everything was good with that .

I thought we usually get updates on thursday. My ecas showed a new line "We started processing your application on February 20" and the status shows In Process, after almost a year of "Application Received"

It is ecas status. No I didn't get any emails.

Thats correct, my wife got approved for a tourist visa after we applied for our pr. if anyone wants the letter i sent them please let me know...she is currently staying with me for 6 months.

i applied 4 months after i applied for my pr.

Logged in to eCAS today to find the below:

We received xxxx xxxx's application for permanent residence on January 23, 2013.

We started processing xxxx xxxx's application on February 17, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on xxxx xxxx's application. The office will contact xxxx xxxx concerning this decision.

I don't know when exactly it was updated as I haven't checked in a while, but since they started processing on the 17th, I'm guessing it hasen't been a very long time since it was turned to "Decision Made"...

From what I've read, there is almost zero chance of them denying her the PR before they call us for an interview, which they didn't.

I really hope this is the end of our Journey...
We're eagerly waiting for the call from Beirut VO to hopefully request a passport.
