Tanks for the answer, for example we sent a email letin then know about some changes in our adress information,
and the answer was that they haven't received our file yet, so i dont understand if we got the SA early december,
Keep in mind it was the holiday season and there is general delay during this time, due to staff being off and vacation and such! Your file is there, they just haven't gotten around to processing it as of yet. But it is most likely there, sitting on a vo's desk.

thanks for the info

it took me actually more than 6 month.
i'm in my 9th month now..

i am hoping 3rd week in February i'll be finished

Providing she sent it with a half decent courier (NOT DHL...cause that was painful for us) than I believe she should have it back in the next 2.5 weeks. We recieved our request on November 17th, it got sent out on November 19th and the visa was issued inside the passport November 30th. They emailed us telling us on December 2nd saying it was ready and to arrange pick up as DHL makes you arrange it afterwards...its very tedious and confusing. Either way...that should give ya an idea of time. Had we just had the prepaid airway bills, I imagine we would have had it back sooner, but because we had to go back and make arrangement with DHL we didn't get the passport until December 21st.

thanks
i'm using Fedex
i was going to use UPS
but i'm using Fedex
i never heard of DHL

my wife had a problem today

the Fedex in Santa Domingo wouldn't take her passport. :'(
they wouldn't allow her to send it.. :o

after 10 minutes of speaking with him and explaining, they took the passport to send it off to mexico...

what is the reason for this?? :(

It has to do with the fact that they don't want to be responsible for your passport if it gets lost. Lots of people just lie and say they are sending documents rather than a passport.

What's the next process after CIC visa office in mexico
sends you back

- your Passport
- Confirmation of Permanent Residence letter
- VISA

IS THERE ANY MORE STEPS ???

or is that it?? is it finish or more paper work and sending files and e-mailing??

that's the end! once you get the passport back with the visa and COPR then you are finished this process. you just have to do the landing process to complete it all
