Happy waiting and here's to hoping for speedy processing! After SA, is when the real nerve-wracking waiting begins.

We are both going to it.
It's good that you are accompanying your spouse, although it is not necessary and the vo likely won't ask you any questions (some do, but it is rare), but it looks very good to be there supporting your spouse. My advice to the spouse undergoing the interview is: don't be nervous, even if they answer some of the questions wrong (although not ideal, but it happens), the vo goes off of body language and how the question was answered, so if your spouse is hesitant, anxious, unusually nervous, rude or dismissive, things like that, then that could make the interview unsuccessful. Your spouse should be confident and answer every question to the best of his knowledge (even if he gets some questions wrong) as long as he comes across as genuine, then you should be ok.

Most of the people I know who have had interviews have been successful ( and yes some of them got questions wrong). A good thing to do is order your notes to see why you have been selected for an interview. When is your interview scheduled?

I agree with everything LaLa already stated. My husband went through the interview process and was successful. I went with him for support and I feel this definitely helped. They do ask some pretty specific questions. He was asked the name of my University (which he forgot, lol) but this didn't make or break the interview! They mostly seemed to ask questions that were in the app but a few questions that weren't, such as: What do you like to do for fun together? What is your wife's best friend's name? Why did you choose to be with a Canadian rather than a Dominican woman?

It was a nerve wracking experience but the worst part was having to wait 3 weeks after the interview for an answer!!! All worth it in the end though. Hopefully they don't make you guys wait that long as our interview was almost 1.5 years ago and hopefully it is faster now.

When is the interview? Be sure to keep us posted on how everything goes.

The accompanying pdf to the email had this:
Your sponsor must be available for a possible phone interview on the same date between. If your sponsor is with you, he/she should accompany you to the interview.

Thanks for the advice. Greatly appreciated.

I have the notes. Where in the notes does it have the reason for the interview?

Beginning of next month is the interview.
