You are just ahead of me by about a month. I guess if you have heard nothing... I have no hope. I told my husband we probably wouldn't hear anything till August or September about it even arriving in Mexico. I think they are just too backed up. Instead I just told my husband to focus on my return in 2 months. I can't wait.

2worlds1love, in my opinion, I really think Mexico will be quicker than SD was. Mexico has a longer processing time but that doesn't mean it will take that long. My theory is that once they clean up the backlog, things for the 2015 applicants will start coming along. The waiting and not knowing is the worst part. Getting that email from Mexico that said please be patient and we will contact you within 2 months, gave us a little hope that things will start moving really soon and made this wait somewhat easier. It sucks to not get to be with your husband everyday, but it gives you time to prepare for the big change that is to come.

We are all in this together, I really wish a quick and smooth process for everyone!! Looking forward to hearing all about our visas being issued!

oh amd have you tried calling to CIC to see if they can confirm that your file was sent to Mexico? Maybe that could give you some piece of mind?

Yes I felt the same, no hope since it's been two months since we got SA, and I had a friend who's file were transferred to Colombia they sent their papers a month after and already got their aor2,... Then I got the email that is still in transit, it made me
Feel a little bit frustrated with the whole Mexico thing... But like sb414 said, hopefully they'll move faster than SD did.

I don't know what is up with Mexico today, I have already received 2 pointless emails from them. Just repeating the same thing "we have your application and will contact you when we are in the final processing stages". I don't know why I keep getting these??? I haven't contacted them at all!

I received the one last week and two more today! Maybe they should stop sending emails and spend more on the applications! I like the updates but come on!!!

you should get an email soon letting you know you were approved, and that they are transferring your application to Mexico City.
From there, you wait 2014 applicants have received confirmation from Mexico, but nobody from 2015 has heard anything yet!

Just want to say, keep strong everyone! The process, while agonizing, can go quite fast! I nearly had a melt down, and then less than 10 days after that my husband was approved. It is torture while you're going through it, but once your spouse is approved and arrives in Canada, while there are many difficulties, the suckiness of immigration will soon be forgotten.

now my file went to mexico today .......

how long is this process now ????
