Because my LMIA hadn't completed.

robb83 said:Problem is I have no time for my ielts revision at the moment.
The 418 I have also includes my LMIA.
If the points don't drop that's what ill do but I need a week off to get myself in the mind set again.

I find it funny that some people do not want to invest time and money to maximize the IELTS which is the easiest to significantly improve their CRS, but they instead choose to come here and lament about their situation on a random internet forum like they have done everything they could.

picklee said:That is a particularly negative position to take in a community based on helping one another and empathy. There are lots of ways to increase your score, but we don't go around on the forum bashing 410s and 420s for not having a degree, for being older, or not having been scored higher in English/French.
Given the current trends in scores, I would also wait if I were in that position, since those ITELS costs $$$.
Alexios07 said:What is the better way to increase your CRS besides IELTS and other language tests? last time I check you cannot traverse time to reduce your age, and it costs way more to earn a new degree. I was simply poiting out that the guy can easily get an ITA if he's willing to spend time to study for his IELTS test, something is totally doable.
You want to immigrate to a developed, English-speaking country, but you don't want to invest time and $$$? Good luck pal.
robb83 said:I'm already in Canada, just started a new job and working flat out.
I have invested time and $$$ already getting myself here.
With the points dropping I considered myself at 418 with a shot in the next 4/5 draws.
That may or may not turn out to be the case, however waiting a month isn't going to harm me either way.
Then hopefully I can take a week off, revise and do my IELTS.
This is a stats thread which is now being de-railed, if you are that interested in carrying on the conversation PM me.

Picklee, what do you think shall I go ahead and get this?
The snapshot will be out of date fairly quickly but at least it would show if there is a hope for people below 420
Are you sure you spoke to a CIC official ?robb83 said:I now have an official response from CIC that they can provide me the data for a cost of $100 + tax for the point band I choose.
