I wasnt in the pool and i am now at 472. so someone with a lower score will not get an ITA because of me.

Question or statement... fairly obvious in either regard there.

Maybe to add some value give us a breakdown of how you got that score.

CLB 9 bumped up my score from 412 to 472

Indeed I am in a similar boat, 418 - I re-do IELTS and hit max marks probably close to 450

The writing was my stumbling point

I was going to use the next 2 draws to judge if I'd wait until draw 3 and 4 (which if the drop was 4 points at a time) I would be in on.

The next draw I see remaining the same or close to 434 and the drop through the 420's been hazardous at best.

Tough decision to make with no time to prep for IELTS again.

How many years of skilled work do you have? What's your education level? 418 seems like a low score for a 33 year old?

Worked since 23 - 33 in England

bachelors degree

6.5 writing, full marks speaking and listening, 7.5 reading for ielts

I got my score on the 5th attempt. I gave 1 attempt a month since October and got my score in February. I was overconfident and didnt practice. I only practiced between the 4th and 5th attempt. Had I realised it earlier I wouldnt have wasted £160 each attempt. Give it a shot, you may end up surprising yourself.

Getting your scores reassessed is just paying them some money. It isn't always guaranteed button the writing people often go up half a band

I did my IELTS last year so I cannot get it re-marked.

I was in on the 600 point LMIA at the time, then the points dropped.

Might be a sore point, but why didn't you get an ITA before November when the scores changed?
