Today my Parents Received passport with visa stamp from New Delhi.It took two weeks since they submitted passport to VFS. It was long wait as i applied for them in June 2008.Finally this wait is over.

Thats normal to show both of the address from canada .Mine was also the same .

this is what it says " if your passport or the passport of your spouse expires on an earlier date, the visa will expire on that earlier date." earlier date refer to medical done date so if your passport expire before that thats where your visa will be upto

Landing fees i paid online and i think i paid when request for document came in nov-dec 2011.I got request by email and passport need to be send through VFS OR by post to New delhi.

Good News Guy i just got passport request for my parents . Applied in june 2008 Document sent Jan 2012 Case Transfer Ottawa March 2012 Medical request April 2012 Medical done May and Ecas status Medical received June 2012 Passport Request 26th sep 2012 Good luck to all of you and thanks

My Father got same problem with enlarged heart and doctor did took ECG and right now we got medical received status so i dont think that will cause big concern .So dont worry about that .

To me it looks like there is new procedure CIC is testing by transfering file to new delhi and ottawa -you expect some delay during start but once good link is established then you will see response more fast ---this makes me feel comfortable thinking about it but not sure of reality.
