Hi lionheart7 - Please complete IMM008, IMM5406, IMM5669, birth certificate of sponsor, marriage certificate of parents, birth certificates of parents (or affidavit), if there are dependats on application....family registration form (bay form), birth certificates.....NIC card copies, passport copy, if asked PCC. All documents should be in engilish, if not certified traslations required and an affidavit from person who translated these documents.

Did your parents received passport from VFS office

As we live near patiala our passports were mailed to patiala courier company they then contacted us and yes we sent through vfs And it took just 10 days to get passport back with visa stamping

Hello,

I need advise

I sponsored my parents in Jan 2009.

Starting Jan 2012, i received letters of completing forms and providing birth certificate etc etc

I was approved as sponsor in sep 2012

Today, I got letter from Ottawa-Pilot office requesting my parents to do medical and provide police certificate.

I am confused with CIC processing timeline, 1st process is max 55 months (sponsor) and local office time is 44 months (applicant)

Will my parents get visa after re-medical or will it be transferred to local office in singapore for further processing which is around 44 months.

How does it work with Ottawa-Pilot office ?

Please advise
