just checked Ecas and is showing decision made for sponsorship application . Letter sent on Oct 2 so hopefully will get it soon , has anyone on the forum ever been rejected as a sponsor?
Agree with Mockava.Mockava said:CIC has rigt to ask for proof of documents, even after visa is issued, so we should be prepared even at the border entry. I suppose different officer is looking at the file now for your sponsored person application. First one approved your sponorship, but this one is looking into more details. Of couse it is unusual, but it is possible. Sorry this happened to you, but try to get all info to them ASAP.
You are not hiding anything, so no reason to be scared, but I would be upset as well, since this will definatelly delay your application processing times.
thanks Kandel, at least a little light at the end of the tunnel now.kandel said:Seang Congratulations ^_^ stay positive
After medicals!!! that's unbelievable.hmadra said:So, After doing the medicals here is what CIC did to me today ...
Really ???????????? After medicals ????????????????
Cant get my mind straight now....
Well, thats exactly what I an thinking. I have just mailed all the docs for delivery of tuesday (monday ofcourse is off)kandel said:Agree with Mockava.
Hmadra look on the positive side they might be getting ready to issue visa thats why they were reviewing your file as a final step
Collect your documents and send them asap..good luck
My file was transfer Singapore LVO is January 2012. Inquiry through MP, singapore response "processing times are 46 mths. So it has approx. 38 mths. to go." I also explain MP that CPP-Ottawa and other LVO faster than Singapore and some 2008 applicant are getting visa or are at final stage. MP contact minister office and minister office smartly avoid this by responding "we are working hard to reduce backlog".Looks like they are looking some excsue why I will be treated differnetly.northclare said:I am wondering if they are trying to honour the order in which the original applications are received.
Was there a different spelling of the name on some of the documents? This seems to me as the only possible explanation.hmadra said:Well, thats exactly what I an thinking. I have just mailed all the docs for delivery of tuesday (monday ofcourse is off)
No. All the documents have right spelling.. But ... well... its done .. Just killed my weekend though.Dancu said:Was there a different spelling of the name on some of the documents? This seems to me as the only possible explanation.
RR, yes fortunately i was under the age of 22 when applications were filed.. Ohh thats a great thing then.. But i am thinking to takean extra course , to be on the safe side ,from the same uni only.. .. As i dont need too take admission again at this stage.. Though my mba courses would be completed , but uni people dont have any problem if we take extra course.. So thats an advantage i have at the moment .. so my mba would get extended to next year, till then hopefully in sha ALLAH, we will get the visa's..Roozirooti said:Hira.n, Were you under age of twenty 22 when the sponsorship application was submitted? If yes.......In that case you need not to be a full time student....that is what I heard from lot of other forum members and verified from the requirement check sheet which i received from LVO for additional documents. Fortunately the dependants in my application are still under age of 22 and studying.
RR
Don't worry. I believe your file was forwarded to CPP-O and it must now be at LVO (after medicals) and the request must have originated from country-specific requirements. CPP-O may not have the resources to validate the documents from different countries. This shouldn't delay your process much longer.hmadra said:No. All the documents have right spelling.. Now hoping for the best. Have sent d docs already.
