You should be alright since this is the only form they've updated, surely they can't return all November applications for a form that they updated in the last few days of November.

Anyone see they have updated the IMM0008 form? It wasn't updated when we sent ours off in mid November but says the new form was updated Novemeber 2015

Thats the right page, and I would apply for extension just to be safe as said, but even if you don't and the package/OWP is sent back in say February, I believe you would still apply for restoration of status anyway.

Turn up at the doctors office, provide a urine sample, answer a few questions from the doctor and he/she takes height and weight. Then get a chest xray and give a blood sample.

Ponga you seem very informed on these sort of matters, in your experience on returned applications, when are they usually returned? What I mean is after a few weeks of not hearing anything is it safe to assume that they have quickly checked everything is there and does not need to be returned...

What stages will be delayed for spousal sponsorship? I'm guessing the SA stage as it is done by visa officers in Canada who might have to help out with the refugee processing?

Sounds correct to me. You're right in saying you don't have to include a Canadian one.
