I see what you're saying but, even if someone comes here to say I got DM on this date and applied on this date its at least some sort of information that we wouldn't have else wise known.
Any non Amercians been getting DM? Wondering if non Americans are quicker or slower through Ottawa, does CIC have to do any of the police checks on behalf of US applicants or is all sent in by the applicant?

And you will have to show that you intend to move to Canada. But yes I would start compiling the forms/documents and apply in the next few months. Allow 6-10 months for it to be processed.
We got sponsorship approval over two weeks ago and it still says 'in process' under sponsor on ECAS. Under permanent residency it switched from application to in process a few days after SA but we still only have one line. So in the same boat.
I dunno if there is anyone else from November out there waiting for SA past the processing time but I would suggest ringing, as they can 'forget' to send the SA email or letter as they did to us.
On their website you were able to get more specific data about the number of applicants and the time its took to process 20, 50 and 80% of those applications.
