I have a spouse too. When I applied, I just did mine and I can see my GCMS notes whats started for him and what has not... So I dont think you need to apply for your spouse unless your spouse is the principal applicant!

People on this forum have expressed that they have contacted CPP-O and they said the passports have to be submitted at CPP-O, CHC-New Delhi doesnt transfer passport for you from New Delhi to CPP-O!

It depends.... anywhere from few weeks to few months will be added to the timeline since they need to do background and criminality check for your spouse as well! It also depends if your spouse has lived in more than one country in past 10 years, they need to check everywhere for the security...

I ordered my GCMS on 6th May... got it on 6th June... nothing except criminality was started :o >:( but I guess I will be one of the last people from Sept list to hear from CPP-O since I added my spouse in April.. so his criminality and stuff will take while!! I have ordered another GCMS notes...

Yup they need to carry an authorization form, signed by the person who is sending their passport to Canada and the letter which CPP-O sends asking for their passport!!
