When did you last receive yours?? I guess we just count any request made after the day we receive last notes!! I can't believe they don't write such stuff on their website!!

Sorry to say but you are wrong! You do not have to pay the fees if you do not want them to accompany you right now! If you have included them in the family information thn you can sponsor them later in time if you want. You do not have to pay $550 and $150 for your wife and son if they are not...

You can surely just apply for yourself but you have to add all the information about your wife and son in the application and your spouse has to fill the forms as well, whether she wants to accompany you or not. If you would like to sponsor them later, you have to make sure their info is added...
