That's correct. People bring fake letters from COLLEGES stating presence is essential even with FULLY ONLINE classes for the fall (which is, in fact, a non-essential purpose for entry). And they are being allowed in everyday by the CBSA. I've seen innumerable such accounts. I really hope...

OP's "travel support letter" was from a COLLEGE, not from a publicly-funded university. Most public universities are refusing to give such a letter, saying the "student's presence in Canada is essential even if s/he has online classes". I'm not getting such a letter from my public university...

Yes they won't reply. I already said that. @Ace2020 , you could also consider deferring to the next intake. Again, as I said, explain all your problems/ issues with your University/college & ask for their help in what you should do, deferring, etc.

Try sending the IRCC webform. Say that classes will start in September. Also contact your University & international student Office for any doubts you may have. They should help you. You can start studying online from home without the AIP. BUT, still contact your University for all questions &...

Does your University support letter state that your "presence is mandatory" or just a general letter supporting you & explaining the problems you face studying from home, please? I too am trying to get a support letter from the university...

Thanks a lot for replying! I agree with you. That's correct. There's a lot of risk right now. It's been very stressful and difficult. But alas. Seems like I too have to study from home for the fall.
