september class is starting but still no update. just received a biometrics request then no update. what to do then?

Try sending the IRCC webform. Say that classes will start in September.

Also contact your University & international student Office for any doubts you may have. They should help you.

You can start studying online from home without the AIP. BUT, still contact your University for all questions & doubts you have. Explain all your issues & ask for information.

They may not give a reply. But I think it does help in getting your case into the officers' notice if you say classes will start & you need information from them about your application now.


That's true for everyone now but still it's good to try doing that. I feel it only helps. You are just asking for more information on your file, when you can get the 1st stage decision, and saying classes will start.

They don't reply to any webforms. Even the expected date of reply is like 30. So its of no use as we are already in the end game for fall term. I'd advice you to make back up plans and consider deferral to winter

@Ace2020 , you could also consider deferring to the next intake. Again, as I said, explain all your problems/ issues with your University/college & ask for their help in what you should do, deferring, etc.

if i deferred, do i inform them? how?

my course is not available for winter intake. so its gonna be september 2021. i have to wait another year.

for me personally its either AIP or i drop plan to pursue canada.
If a country would not give me a small thing as a study permit, what has it to offer me more?
