Also I'm hearing of Indian students boarding Lufthansa to Cansfa for the 1st time. Anyone can provide any info / Confirmation please? Are Indian students allowed to board Lufthansa flight, from India to Canada?

Yes please. I would also really like to know the answer to this. If a support letter is saying "Classes are online. But recommended to come to Canada due to internet issues / time zone difference", is such a support letter enough to board Air India?

But how do we crack Air India? What do they require to surely allow students to enter the flight? How can we make sure they will not deny boarding?

I totally agree. Same with my University. They just don't understand. They are just saying you can complete the course requirements remotely & your presence is not required lol :( I can't even try to board without thus letter, right?

I understand it's a very difficult time for all of us facing so many different uncertainties during this challenging time. I only hope all of us get out of this soon.

I heard that some students from Vietnam with fully online classes for the fall were allowed entry. They were 1st time travellers. I read that in this forum only. Plus another Pakistani student posted that he also went into Canada with fully online classes, despite being a 1st time traveller...

Guys I called CBSA 3 times. Different people picked up. I asked about this essential reason & whether time zone & internet issues would be considered. One person just said it's essential if I have a physical study permit already. I don't have that. I said I only have Letter of Introduction...

What right does Air India have to deny students boarding if CBSA has no issues & is allowing entry in Canada? By the way, @Mandalorin , thanks a lot for posting this here.

So so so very unfortunate what is happening to us in this time of nerve-wracking turbulence. Some of us have reached this far with so much of struggle, difficulties & challenges. It's a lifetime worth of effort some of us have put in to reach till this point. And now we are denied boarding...

I can't go even if I get a ticket - my University is not quite understanding the multiple issues we international students face.

Stay strong and have hope buddy - at least, you won't have to worry about the 50% limit now. You can go in January & hopefully by then the restrictions are all eased. Prayers to the almighty to help all of us get out of this asap.

I understand. Maybe 1 or 2 tickets are there open for booking by ourselves. But mostly, it's through the agent. Have you booked & obtained the travel support letter from college?
