Hey! I sorted this out by repeatedly asking questions to IRCC, CBSA by phone & on twitter. Once your study permit application is fully approved, you don't need to give the medicals again. You just need to enter the country before the validity date printed on your Visa. That's it.

I literally see so many posts like this everywhere these days. It's not fair that some international students are not allowed to board a flight & are forced to start studying from home due to online classes being "non-essential" for entry, but others who somehow reach there get entry easily (...

There's so many more posts, tweets, etc. out there saying the same thing. I've seen many like this. Look at the number of likes, retweets, comments & replies.

Immediately found this one - In the replies to comments, this person says that classes were all online. But that the college still gave a letter saying that his presence is mandatory. He's replied to all questions people have asked & it's a long conversation on a twitter post.

Again, that's really sad and unfortunate. But how I wish they get to know about all this! In a pandemic situation like this, with things rapidly changing everyday and so much uncertainty, it doesn't help at all if the CBSA officer just merely looks at a letter, and allows entry right-away...
