Confusion for 50% studies in India

I heard many agents & students keep saying that 50% portion to be studied in India but as per I can understand its not requirement its just a limit, But many people are confusing others as if it is a parameter that you have to study 50% of your portion in India.

What I can understand is that you are allowed to doesn't mean you have to till travel restrictions are removed and as per I can see by January.

@row.one , thanks for the reply & for posting this point.

I am baffled beyond limit that nobody is asking that question.

What if Canada does not open the border to allow us entry, before we complete the 50%?

yea that's true but as per the reports incoming Canadian governor is trying to prepare institutes & many meetings going on about handling international students for January as per I can see, But nothing can be taken for granted until proven right or wrong, Anyhow all we can do is hope that all goes well!
