    The letter has of course the location and time of test but also instructions on what items to bring with you. The envelope it came in was the government light brown..... Did you provide an email in your application? If yes you will also see an update in your eCas when test invite is sent.

    You are lucky that you have an oath ceremony every week....here in Edmonton there was only one on September 13 :( . No other date posted. So I guess the Edmonton applicants are in for a wait.... But I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that you will get your invite soon!

    If they are on the passport you will be presenting then having the non English stamps translated might be a good idea just to be on the safe side.

    If you receive the AOR by email it will have the link to download the book online. You can also order a hardcopy which will take about a week to arrive.

    If your wife and kids comply with the residence requirements then they can renew their PR cards. Should not encounter any problems.

    It can take up to a month+ to receive AOR. I think waiting for at least a month before calling would be advisable.

    As of now per PR time is not counted. Current rule is 4 years (1460 days) in the last 6 years. So under the current law you would be eligible to apply in 3 years. The law might change this year or next year to 3 years and maybe pre PR time counted again.
