Just sent off my application. I just have a quick question though. I have recently changed my name legally and signed off my application with the new name and provided the Id's with my new name on it except for PR card and COPR. I have also submitted a copy of the name change certificate to proof that It was changed legally. My question is, Will it a reason that they would probably return it to me? I personally didn't think of when I sent it off but I just got a second thought, therefore I am wondering if there is anyone here who has been in this situation before and would like to advise on it.

Delivered september 13th.

Just heard they had a new form for september 2016.I sent the old form, i printed on september 5th it was still the old form.I checked the new one the only difference is two questions concerning my passports biographical pages and if i have all available for the relevant period. I sent all of them.

If anyone has any comments please feel free to share.

On Monday, when I went to the website, I transferred my info from the old form to the new one. There should be a transition period. I don't think they would send back your app because the old form was recently updated. It's not like it was updated months ago. It was only a couple of days.

The representative explained me that so many application got rejected because applicants were not sending detail information if they have any kind of gap between their passports so thats why they include those points. But she said if you your all documents are correct and you send explanation letter then no issue.

As she said "They changed the form not the law".

Thanks for confirming.I also went to the website and went back to the page where the application forms are.The page shows last modified on september 9th 2016.I am guessing the only modification was that form and it happened on september 9th.I signed my application on 8th september.I sent everything that was required.Plus further rxplanations about my time.We should be good.You applied from montreal as well?

Is it true that calgary/alberta applications are being processed much faster then the rest of canada?
