No you wouldn't be good. Once applying for citizenship you will have to list all your employers, addresse(s) and CIC will/can pull your tax assessments. it would be obvious then that you do not reside in Canada but merely visit.

If the ceremony is open to the public I don't think they need any other ID then their regular ones.... I would call CIC to be sure but as it says on their info site you can bring family and friends ;)

No it happened at the airport. We were coming back from our vacation from Europe.

Like I said the officer I had was a very nice lady. She didn't make a big fuss about the stamp....it's I think me worrying too much. She did say she has no concerns and that the next step would be the oath and to wait for the letter with instructions. I do hope that everything will turn out OK...

Exactly. And you never know..... Just still mad that I didn't catch that the stamp of 2013 wasn't in my passport and I didn't order a CBSA report to bring with me. But then the nice officer did note "no concerns" on my form/file so I guess I can just wait to see what happens next :(
