Not from Calgary but just did mine yesterday in Edmonton. We could bring our purses in and I also had a binder with all my documents. Cell phones had to be turned off but you could bring them. All personal items had to go under the chair.

Just got back home from the test today. I passed :D. So relieved. The interview after was extremely short. Only verified ID's and took some copies of other documentation I brought with me that wasn't asked for to send with the original application. My passport was missing one of the entry...

Wait at least a week. I had the same - status update that letter for test was sent on 17th. Took 5 days for the letter to arrive.

Are you already a permanent resident of Canada? Or do you have no immigration status in Canada yet?

I will just bring the passport that expired in 2007 and mention that I have it in the interview. If they want to see it then OK and if not OK too!

I am just a little confused as it says the test is based on the book. Maybe if this questions does show up at the test could we ask the officer or ask before the test is handed out? Anyone come across this question in the test?

Just came across a section in the Discover Canada book. Page 30 - Federal Elections. In the book it says that there are 308 electoral districts but there are actually 338 ? If this is one of the questions during the test what should the answer be?

Thank you dpenabill. I hope you didn't jinx me by mentioning the RQ ;D. I have also made a binder with the original documents and also other documents requested as per the letter and only included tax assessments and letters of employment to it. I figured it can't hurt to have these as well...

Lol...I am doing the same thing right now in preparation for my test on Thursday. My problem is that I do not have a any mortgage or utility bills for over 4 years as they are all in my husbands name :(.
