PR Card Sent for renewal valid still for 8 months until expiry

Anybody has experienced the case of sending his PR Card for Renewal and still it is valid for 6, 8 or even 9 months until expiry. Did IRCC send the renewal within the normal time e.g. 3 months or waited until around expiry to send it?

Now processing time is around 3 months. Hence apply for renewal 4 months before card expiry.

What I meant by this thread is that I sent the renewal for my PR Card and expiry is after 8 months. Will the IRCC send the renewals after 3 months or they wait until the old PR card expires to send me the new one?

It should be issued once application is processed.

The PR CARD must have 9 month or less to be accepted for renewal as stated on CIC website. They are processed on a first come first serve basis they do not hold applications.
