My wife did the medical and last update was medical results received in March and no update since then.

Erbil office is supposed to open on 7th of May

She arrived to Canada last year, I don't think she did any interview, Just the security check, Biometrics and medical exams then she received her visa probably a month after the medical exam but the situation is different now unfortunately.

This is normal, My friend took two years to get his residency here in Canada and once he received it they started processing his wife's residency and it took her less than a year after that.

Students can still work on part time jobs like stores and other kind of jobs, And many students are doing online classes. Most provinces in Canada are planning to open business and going back to normal life soon.

The Visa Application Centres in Jordan will remain closed until 23 May 2020.

Thanks for clarification. I hope they're working still but when I checked on the VAC website it says Amman is temporarily closed and will open on 23 of May Anyway there's nothing to do but wait and hope things move fast. Thanks again and stay safe
