I'm not sure if the delay is because of the embassy or the visa office but this is extremely frustrating.

Did anyone email the embassy or the visa office? What exactly is happening? Our application has been stuck on medicals received for three months now with no updates

Congratulations on your visa ! I think the least expensive way is to fly from Baghdad to Cairo then Cairo to Toronto once they open the airports. And please update us when you arrive about the airport and entering Canada and what documents they ask for. Good luck

That is true. Things are starting to come back to normal in some provinces like here in Alberta which is a good sign and hopefully they'll start working on the applications soon.

This is what I understood but last year my friend's wife sent it with DHL directly to the embassy which is confusing and not sure if that is the right way to do it.

This is becoming extremely annoying just waiting. We are really tired of this situation.

That's what i understood so no paper applications until June 9 and it has to be online. It doesn't mention anything about existing applications or office opening.

Their website mentions that you can't submit new application on paper until June 9, But it's not clear on when will they open. I'm still hoping they'll start working on the existing applications after the 26 or 27 of May

I just called the Canada border service agency and asked them if my spouse receives her PR will she be able to travel from Iraq to Canada? They said once she has her residency she will need to contact the Canadian embassy in her country and they will provide her with a letter to allow her to...
