From all that this Government have and still put you through, do you think they should stay or go? Voice you opinion....

I will still vote for conservatives after taking my oath.
I don't think this government did anything wrong to be honest. I prefer CIC do a better job checking everything and rejecting applicants applying "on the way to airport", so honest people working hard don't have to pay more tax for these guys' free health care and other benefits when they get old and decide to move back here to live.

Some people like this government and some don't.
Absolutely normal.

There is no guarantee that the next government will be definitely overall better.

Me personally , I don't have any reason to hate that government.

:) why do you guys have problems with people who leave canada after they get their passports. Why you care?
Do they impact your employment? NO.Do they impact your security? NO.

everyone has mobility freedom. After I get my Canadian passport if I get a better job in the US of course I`ll move there and send you a postcard.

Change is good.Monopoly in the parliament is not good.It is time to STOP Harper.Let`s see what other parties will do when they become majority.

If I live until 50 in the US,as a canadian citizen.I`ll move back to canada and spend the rest of my life here with you and enjoy the benefits with you :)

So you invested so much money and time just to go in US on a working visas? WOWWW the US government should be delighted.

For me this sound like an epic achievement.

"The Government have and still put us through" .... what exactly?
A public forum is and should be politically/ethnicity/religiously free. What is your intent here with this thread?
All and each of us have the option to vote the party of choice.

And if you asked, my opinion is that you're frustrated and you'd like us to resonate with your feelings.

Why don't you explain us what is that this (or any) government put you through. You may get some sympathy on that.

I can go whenever I want there so the post cards from US are not interesting for me.

Sent them to someone who dream to work there on a temporary work visas.

I am copying my post from the December 2014 Applicant's thread:

If we look at Discover Canada this is what it states:

Mobility Rights — Canadians can live and
work anywhere they choose in Canada, enter
and leave the country freely, and apply for a
passport.

As everyone knows Canadian passport is one of the world's most privileged passport in the world and can be used to travel visa free to most of the countries.
Everyone Canadian Citizen has the right to enter and leave the country freely however, some people are here just to get the passport "Passport of Convenience" and they have no intent to reside.

I know there are certain genuine circumstances/scenarios where the person has to leave Canada (eg. taking care of old age parents) which can't be avoided.

I'm feeling sorry for them, because they have to pay the price for being born in a country which provide weak travel opportunities.

They have to fight for the same rights to be like many others in the world already have by being born in a strong country.

Taking in consideration the other 2 options, Harper have to stay, no doubt about that. Go Harper Go !!!

Is this forum about immigration/citizenship or a political one? I believe most people here are not citizens yet so they can't vote (except the few Canadians who are keeping a close eye on immigration issues for their own reasons, who'll most probably vote conservative for these same reasons :D).

This topic is a result from the frustration some people have that they can't travel visa free for couple of extra years ahead.

So why do you need Canadian Citizenship if you will leave right after getting an offer from the US? Why not go now without your citizenship?

Exactly , I'm sure that he is very valuable worker and he can get a working US visa.
Being Canadian or not is the same thing, because Canadians can't work there without a working visa.

Canadians can work visa free only in Canada.
