Hello Everybody,
It's better if you apply online but if you apply again in Moscow results will be the same most people getting there visa online so try online maybe this time your luck will work
I am currently sponsoring my husband, already got our AOR2. I lost my pregnancy 3 weeks ago and am going through a real nightmare, so we decided to apply for a visitor visa for him. I am always reading the posts here and we had all the necessary documents attached. Except for required documents we also had the supporting letters from the doctors.
But my husband's TRV application was rejected by the Moscow Embassy last week. The only ridiculous reason mentioned there is "Family ties in Canada and in country of residence". We got refused in 1 day .
Can anybody explain what could be done in this situation? Is it possible to get some explanation from the Embassy or get them review the case? I am really desperate at the moment and would appreciate any suggestion on this case.

It seems NDVO has stopped processing TRVs.
18th Day since I applied, no update >:(

Dear all,

May be this is not the right forum to post my questions but still wanted to share my update. Finally after a long time similar to lot of you guys my wife has finally got DM status on her permanent residence application for Canada. I have following questions though:

1. Does CIC send email notification about the "decision made" status because we checked only on ecas system about this. Just wanted to confirm, it does send PPR request by email rite?
2. On ecas system, it says "decision made" on her PR application status but still "in process" on sponsorship application status. What does this mean? I was expecting "decision made" for both the application status.
3. When it says "decision made" it is usually positive news rite? (I hope it is good news).
4. How much time is generally taking for PPR after DM status for PR? I saw the NDVO spreadsheet for 2015 and it is about approx 1 week but if anybody can confirm with any latest updates that would be really good.

Please let me know. My wife is currently on visitor visa with me in Canada but it is expiring in Sep 2016, really hope to get it before that. We applied for PR in July 2015.

Thanks and Regards,
Vinod

1. PPR should be sent by email if that is your preferred mode of correspondence.

2. The sponsor's side is rarely updated. Don't worry about it.

3. If there was no interview and no missed doc request, DM is usually almost always positive.

4. You should expect PPR very soon.

Congrats!

Hello,
I've applied for TRV on July 1st and yesterday July 8th I got a call from the Bucharest VO to let me know that I will be granted a TRV, but is gonna be a short visa, not for the life of the passport as my PR application will be done in August. I couldn't believe how nice the lady calling me was, she was basically explaining why they will only grant me a short visa, and was very communicative about my PR application. She told me they have asked for my medicals to be extended as they expired in June and when they get the approval the PR is done. They anticipate August. I am so happy that the PR is getting close to being done!
