HI,

I am looking for suggestions for my wife to complete her taxes. She is a a canadian citizen and is living with me in the usa. Is there a way for her to do her canadian taxes over the phone or computer without visiting Canada.

Thanks

What is the difference ( GCMS )with CAIPS
I ordered CAIPS a few days ago,but confused now maybe GCMS better ?
Thank u Again very much

Its all the same now they will send you the GCMS notes.

GCMS is just the new version of CAIPS. It was rolled out about a year or less ago (depending on the VO) and replaced CAIPS. So as Calgary-Bound said, even if you select CAIPS they will send you the notes from GCMS, as that's the system in place since the transition.

OH YEAH~~~
PPR la !!!!!!
We received this great news this morning, in CIC website, it shows: We started processing your application on March 2, 2012. Medical results have been received. Then we received PPR on March 5, 2012.
My husband is from New Zealand, in CIC's letter, it said: if you hold a passport from a visa exempt country, this office will not require your passport to finalize this case. submit a clear photocopy of every page in their valid passport. Is that means CIC will send us CORP document by mail to us later?

Congrats!!!

When did you get the "medical results received" update on ecas?

Yes, I am still obsessing ;D

For the PPR, yes, send a photocopy of all the pages in your passport and they will send the COPR for you to land with.

We checked it on Sunday, nothing changed, still: We received your application on Sept 9,2011, and transfer your file to Buffalo on Nov 25, 2011. Only got a big change today.

That is so exciting. We have close timelines. I got the medicals received this morning when I woke up!

Well, we've FINALLY gotten it all together and are sending it tomorrow! So excited! I feel almost like I'm getting married all over again haha! :)

I'm going to be applying very soon, finally! There's one question I had, which may come across as mildly dumb >.>

When selecting the USA Offices where I'd like my application processed, none of the options are Buffalo, NY? Which is where I'd prefer it to go!

Sure they are. Are you looking at the Choice of Interview Location page in the Country Specific Instructions form for the United States?

My medical results have been in Ottawa since September but still don't have meds received yet.
