My FBI Certificate arrived today, yippee! Of course, as expected there are no records - and the prints were good!

exactly 8 weeks from when I sent it in - it was my first time.

FINALLY DONE!!!!

of course now I feel like I am forgetting things.


Now to take a quick shower, run down to the local Kinko's/Fed Ex, photocopy the whole shebang, and send this puppy off!!!

of course this means I don't have any excuse to have the house be SUCH a wreck anymore....tonight is for celebration....tomorrow for cleaning the house that I have ignored while completing this application!!

Relief! Second day of trying and sitting on the delivery van for over 5 hours today, but DHL have finally delivered our application to Mississauga.

4 days to deliver, which felt like a lifetime, what on earth will the next wait feel like? lol.

ok!! application shipped off. Should be received by CPC-M on Monday morning.

my application was received at CPC-M this morning! And now the *real* wait begins...

Yey to all those who's applications arrived since I last posted.

I see that CIC has charged my credit card for the payment of my fees (my app and my kids) on the 5th and the 8th of this month.

I was all freaking out a moment, thinking they overcharged us by over $100 at first - but then I realized it was my kids and mine WITH the exchange rate factored in already. Doh!

Mailed my application yesterday. It was successfully delivered today to Mississauga. Our application will be processed out of the New Delhi office... So one load lifted of my shoulders and another one is put on (that of the wait).

Hello ppl finally mailed my wife's application today via priority mail from Canada post date of delivery is said to be 22nd July. Now the waiting game begins. I got so tired of checking and re checking the documents just to make sure that there are no mistakes and believe me people even before mailing and checking it for one last time I found grammatical errors which i guess is not a big deal as long as they get the point. Good luck to all applicants and hope they be with their loved ones soon

Hello all...

Application went in the mail today... yay! Will be applying through Pretoria.

Promised myself I wouldn't look through here once I submitted but of course I have been and already found something I may have missed. Oh well... just have to wait and hope for the best now.

Well just received the FBI record check last night!!! Now to get everything filled out and put together so that we can get our application in this month. Really going to push to meet my deadline of a July filing.
