I’m starting this thread because there’s virtually nothing available on the forum to guide me.
My ex tried to sabotage my parents’ PGP’22 application eventually leading to refusal in April’25 when he withdrew his co-sponsorship. I fought the decision in appeals and won. This was exactly 8 days ago. I received the formal letter from IAD/IRB almost immediately. I sent it to ircc and they confirmed that my file is now with an agent. My parents completed all eligibility in April’25 and the only thing that changed was the sponsorship cosponsor that I mentioned.
How long from here do u need to wait for everything to be completed? All their documents are within validity and have not expired.

Winning judicial review doesn’t guarantee approval. Your application will be reviewed again. Why your judicial review was approved has a lot to do with whether your parents will get approved for PGP.

As long as you meet the LICO for sponsoring your parents (meeting family size for all the years) without income of co-signer, then your application could be approved.

You would think there wouldn’t be the need for judicial review if the ex wanted to be removed as a co-sponsor and qualified for LICO on their own.

Well, then I don't understand why OP thinks ex is trying to sabotage the sponsorship. The ex should and has the right to not co-sign.
I just want to give OP the benefit of doubt.

I know for a fact their application will be approved because they already were approved. My case was unique as my cosponsor withdrew his cosponsorship at the time of passport request.

Please read what I posted. The MNI requirement for my sponsorship application was set aside. I am only asking for IRCC timelines. Not an opinion on my situation itself.

The sabotage was part of a bigger thing and not what I have asked an opinion on. I’m simply asking this:

For people who have been through appeals, what’s the timeline of process after winning an appeal? Especially if the applicants have met all other criteria and have been deemed eligible already by IRCC?

There would be no need for JR if you were just removing the co-sponsor and you met MNI. Your file would just be reassessed without the income of the co-sponsor. That is just routine processing given changes in the file.

What are you actually defining by “appeal”? If just removing a co-sponsor there would be no need for an appeal which typically means a judicial review. The removal of a co-sponsor from an application would just lead to the application being reassessed based on the change.

As you said, it's unique. So it's hard to compare with other normal cases.

Please read. My application was approved and we were at the passport request stage. Then the approval was removed and application rejected which lead to appeals. Which I won. At the IAD.
My question is: what is the average timeline so I can establish what I need to do next. I’ve already contacted my MP.
