I wish I wasn't joining this group, but I have too. Our application was sent May 15th, sent back to us on July 5. Sent back out on July 5 and received on July 7. I am though the Buffalo office.

Why was your application returned?

hey .. can i know the exact sheet i mean d application which u missed to file?? Also i would like to know is that mandatory to write name and dob on the backside of our immig pics ?? we sent our app on 27thjune2010 but didn't write anything on the backside of pics .. any chance for this to be a pbm??

Welcome newbies to this thread.

Both my packages cleared customs yesterday afternoon, woot woot.
And the money order is saying cashed as of 7/9 when I called this morning.

I too though, did not put anything on my photos. I looked that application up and down and read the specifics for country and saw nothing of it.

I am not sure of the page we missed. My wife took photo copies of everything and she had a photo copy of the page they said we didn't send. So not sure how we missed sending it in.

As far as name and dob, I never say anything about either.

Me and the hubby just stayed up close to 24 hrs with no breaks trying to finish the application.

We mailed our application off as of today. I can already feel the nerves getting to me. ???
I have been doing and thinking nothing but this application for 10 months now. I have forgotten how to think of anything else.
Is that silly? :-[

Robby, Huh, I wonder why they asked for you to do that with the photos then That really stinks.
Congrats love_young, I felt a huge weight lift when that application went in the mail. It's in someone else's hands now and I can breath. It lasted a short while only-but hopefully some relaxation comes for you soon.

The kids hasn't yet, but it was going to Sidney, NS, not Ontario.

I can breath! I Was so worried it wasn't going to get there having used USPS.

HOw long until I can check ECAS? Is it not till it's in Buffalo?

So not related, lol, but, my husband was correcting me in how I say Mississauga and how I said Saskatchewan the other day - so everytime I say it, see it or type it now I"m very slowly doing so in my head. Mississauga.

As far as I know right now its taking about a month to hear from them...we are suppouse to receive a letter when sponsorship is Approved and before its sent to Visa Office...In the letter they send it should come the client number or case number which we can use to check on ECAS.

Im glad our application is sent but I dont like much the feeling that my future is now in someone elses hands ??? I guess I need to relax a little...everything its gonna be fine soon.

It is hard to get over the wait and the uncertainty. I keep saying there is no reason they'd deny us, there is no reason and just am trying to plan our life there then wonder the what ifs.
