...i guess they didn't mail yours out last Wednesday.
Assuming they mail out PP once a week and if they did it yesterday, it should be in by this Sat or Monday latest...
Just my guess. 8)

Waiting is the only thing that can be done.. wouldn't it be great if ND posted the date the pp was sent on ecas?

Ahhh.... if ND wanted any feedback I'm sure none of us would have a shortage of things to say

If I am correct, they send the PP back through registrd mail isn't it?

Atleast...it's secured!

Hello and welcome to this thread..
I'm not sure how your wife applied for PR Visa for Canada, and waiting for Medical? Please tell me did you submit your application without doing a medical? Please post your complete time line so we can track it, but I need to know "who is your agent" and are you the one who filed all your forms and stuff? Please provide more information and be a bit clear, I'm sorry but I'm a bit confused.

When you applied for PR you must have submitted a copy of the passport for your wife? and your copy as well.. Please tell me "who is this agent" you are talking about?

I hope we can help you with your concern..

Dear all,

I am a fresher on this site.

My wife is applied for PR visa Canada and waiting for medical, Feb 20 I got married with her, and received marriage certificate from Panchayth also. But my agent told me if you want update your status then you required:

Passport
SSC certificates
Marriage certificate
Birth certificates

But I don't have birth certificate that's applied on February; this processing is still going on (kerala Govt is never help for any one to get a good future). This may get next week.

My query is now i update my status of marriage is valid (4 months is over), or this may cause reject my wife's PR application or I can applied with her a VISA application?

I am very much upset on this please guide me.

your valuable feed back may help us

So at the party (get together) I'll call you: Shamashia, you'll call me DNT2003, and you can imagine what sort of conversation we all can have.. as we don't know our real names... I think it will be really funny to call FebPR with his FEBPR name lol... (or full name February Perm Res)... the list of usernames goes on... but anyways I was gonna ask everyone to post their first name.. but know its internet and everyone will know this and many people visit this thread,, but never post anything, just read and read... its not a concernt, but yes giving out real info on a public thread won't be a good idea. So you can imagine about our pictures...... I know u'd not feel safe about ANY or EVERY one can see it. So my opinions is good idea, but as you mentioned.. privacy..... :)

DNT2003

I was totally thinking about this yesterday... and how we'd address each other.. Hi I'm Cdngrl and you are? Lol... It would be so great if we could put real names to alias on here.. but unfortunately privacy is a major issue

True atleast ND has the sense to reg. post the pp.. but still not knowing when it was sent makes it all the more difficult since we can't track the mail ourselves

Yes, my dear.
They send it a BIG YELLOW ENVELOPE !

Feedback required from ppl who got their Visa.

My wife did not get back any emails, bills, documents back...which we submitted in our app.
Many are concerned abt Greeting cards ( i sent none to ND )...

So do we get back sentimental items back from CHC ND? anyone ?

I doubt he can check ecas with the File# as he might not have the file number, as no letter of PPR yet, its still in the MAIL / LOST.

I hope they can reply to your CSE that way you can get the file# or maybe you will get that lost letter soon.

Congrats. They did this once in Jan when they called a applicant on the phone and asked them to send the PP.
Just make sure your address is right @ ecas as it looks like the PPR was lost in transit.
Good Luck.

For sure I would love to help out bro,,, anytime... Feb 2012 is a long time.. I bet they will change their procedure by that time....

I remember back when OCI was a new thing.. they only took first 25 people in line, and then it got changed to first 45 people.. but now its anyone who can submit the application to VFS before 2.30PM... and pick time is after 2:30PM... thats jOKES... I should be able to drop/pickup anytime YOU ARE OPEN! WTF do I have to make so many trips to complete the process...

Remember I mentioned that one day I will post my experience with VFS Canada here it is....
# of trips I went through..
1) Drop the application - (everything is good) but we think (FIRST NAME - LAST NAME) and (FIRST NAME - FATHER NAME - LAST NAME) is different on Indian passport and Canadian passport.. so you have to goto PUBLIC notory to notorize... another joke... I'm still the same person and its still same.. so better to always keep the same names on all the passports... oh you are missing the notorized copy of name change.. get the affadavit..
2) Visit again.. - oh the name on the money order has to be (Consulate General of India - Toronto) because (C.G.I. (India) - Toronto) is not valid.. well shorten your name so it can fit on the Postal Money order.. (ok fine.. Consulate General India Toronto) -- why the F you didn't catch the mistake on my MO the first time I came to submit??? I ended up going to the bank to give them the new money order.. and I still have that $275USD money order made by Canada Post in my car.. (hidden money until Canadian $ drops vs US$) then I will cash it..
3) Visit again... oh you are missing your dad's death certificate... (I had it in the car.. but I said I don't have it.. now what???) -- here is a blank piece of paper write down that your father has passed away and your mother is a widow.. blah balh.. and why he passed away...(I told him because it was the same person.. why didn't you check everything before you asked me to goto the bank to get the NEW money order????) Finally I accept your application.... just wait... until your originals are ready and you can pick them up after 2:30PM don't come before that else we won't help you or give you any service..
4) This trip now to go and pick up the originals.. but only if you are here after 2:30PM
5) I will make this trip to DROP my Passport to be stamped with OCI sticker.. and hey COME before 2:30PM else we will not accept your passport until the following day....
6) I will make this trip 7 days after the visit number 5 and hopefully I can get my passport with the OCI sticker.. (but again COME after 2:30PM don't come before.. else we will not give you the passport.. until 2:30PM)

There is seriously something wrong.... someone has to do somehting about all the trips we've got to make.. yes there is an option of (we can mail it back to you) but you gotta pay extra fees..

I think its $20 for the original documents return.. then another $20 to get back your passport with OCI on it.. but you still have to make 2 trips (min) even if you follow that route...

I will still give them props for one thing... tho they go through a lot of stuff.. and un-predictable process... and things do go wrong... somehow they still manage to RETURN your originals back to you in original condition. Way to go!!!

Congrats, i need your help with this in Feb 2012. I will hunt you down :D

Sorry to hear you had to go thru all the unnecessary run abouts... my parents had a good experience when they got their OCIs... so based on that I was thinking if I ever had to get one it would be painless..

This just goes to show that nothing is or ever will be standard with ND!!

thx for the info!! god bless u both and hope to get the visa soon!!

The exact date was last Thursday...May 26th. We got an email abt the interview call.

Are you expecting them to call you for an interview? If so, I would think you should hear from them in the next 2-3 weeks.

The main reason I think they are calling my husband for an interview is probably b'cause it's my second and his first marrige.

I really don't think it's the visa refusals as he had no problem getting visa's to the UK and USA after the denial. Also, there were a lot of people on the forum who had visa refusal and weren't called for an interview.

Case Specific Enquiry

It's basically an email you send to CHC ND for any updates from your side or enquiries related to your case. This needs to be sent from the CHC website. Here is the link:
