I'm glad at least one other person was thinking like me... let me give you history of DNT2003....

DNT = Dish Network Tester
2003 = This is when I started the above hobbie

It has something to do with (Sattelites... and aham ahamm.. hacking them...)

I'm well known in the forums (mostly private now) which used to be public few years back, but due to legal issues.. everything is mostly private now (I'm still holding my moderator position in 2 of the private ones) and few which were public.. have closed down the site.

I'd like to know why you chose your name how it is? and everyone else can join in...

permanent Residence

Interview scheduled for June 21, 2011.

and it still says APPLICATION RECIEVED.

sooo wish us luck...Didnt think itd happen after then intense phone interview lol but its god wish atleast I now they are doing sumthing. soooo I guess its time to start studying little bit

Any idea why they are calling for an interview? if u don't mind sharing?

If and when it will happen I don't expect them to send my the 370+ pictures I've sent them.. it might cost them money... and I don't care as I printed it on regular paper in colour.. and it was freeeee , but I do want the BIRTH certificate as I sent the original one in, but I've still got 1 more original copy with me here.

Feedback required from ppl who got their Visa.

My wife did not get back any emails, bills, documents back...which we submitted in our app.
Many are concerned abt Greeting cards ( i sent none to ND )...

So do we get back sentimental items back from CHC ND? anyone ?

i sent my passport by BLUEDART.... i hope its secured mail..... because i didnt find indian registered post good as there is no way to track it and Fedex said that they are not authorised to take and send passports. what say???

Congratulations on this part........ I know it will be an easy one.......... but yeah I remember the phone interview... maybe they weren't satisfied with the phone interview.. hence the in-person interview... but no worries.. just make sure you send him copy of the application you submitted and he studies from there... most of the questions they ask are already answered by us in the application forms.

Good luck.. and you may get your visa by going with the trend... I hope they send it to you before or just after the Canada Day long weekend!

I forgot to mentione... the CALL CENTRE is a big JOKE.. they don't know what they are answernig... because before I went I clarify all the questions and I had with "Asish" one of the rep on VFS hotline number..

I did mention this part to the person who was going through my application.. and his exact words "Oh the call centre is very new, they just got a contract, so they are learning, we have many complaints" well train them before you put them on a job...

I do think in next few years it will get a lot better....

Sorry to hear you had to go thru all the unnecessary run abouts... my parents had a good experience when they got their OCIs... so based on that I was thinking if I ever had to get one it would be painless..

This just goes to show that nothing is or ever will be standard with ND!!

I never understood why FedEX can't take the passport.. but I;m sure its because they are a foreign company.. so is DHL.. hmm

I think it has something to do with Indian Government.. passport is very delicate ID, and I'm sure if the company loses your passport or something they don't want to be held liable for any actions or outcome.

But no worries your passport has reached ND... just wait for Decision Made... or maybe the PPT will be at your door before the update..

Secure really means.. someone will sign for it..

CAN_2011 had an eCAS update on May 2, 2011 (In Process)
His wife receives a call on June 2, 2011 (asking for PPR)

Deos this mean ND has a new protocol if they don't get the passport in 30 days they will make a follow up call? or is it that he sent a CSE just 2 weeks ago.. but they say "they've not read it yet" and are not telling the truth,

they did mention that they've sent the PPR request right after his status changed to In Process.
