Generally, in Canada, the use of a middle name is often excluded since it is just another given name and doesn't indicate our mother's maiden name as it does in the Philippines. Including our middle name on legal documents is not always required and doesn't normally cause confusion as long as the first name and surname (last name) are there.

For your second question, did your husband have a birthday just after applying for the marriage license and before getting the marriage contract? Or are you saying that there is a mistake on the license or contract? If there is not a mistake, and your husband's birthday occurred just before the marriage contract was signed, it shouldn't be a problem as long as his birthdate on the form(s) is correct.
