How did you go about the medical exam? Usually the Canadian Embassy will send you a letter for Medical exam that should be brought on your appointment. For the upfront medical exam, did you apply first or call to make an appointment?

No, I just walked in at St. Luke's Global City in Taguig. I'd make sure that I was there as early as 8:00 in the morning. Clinic is open from Monday to Friday (6:00am to 5:00 pm). You will just tell them that you will under go an up front medical exam and they will be the one to filled an application form for an up front medical exam. If all the results are okay after all the test, they will give u a letter proves that u already under go the medical exam and that will be attached to your application form written on the latter part of the checklist

Anyone from you who had the Upfront Medical Exam? According to the Application Guide, it may avoid the lengthy waiting period.

Any feedback if this is really the case especially in Manila Embassy (notoriously known for long waiting time) ;D pun intended

You can also have your upront medical exam done at IOM in makati. But you need to call them to make an appointment.

Good morning Guys! Is there like a timeframe on when CEM send out AOR2s from the date you got email of SA? I got an email last June 26 from CIC regarding SA and application sent to VO Manila. How long should I wait for the AOR2 and PPR? Thanks guys!

sinong May applicant here?

HellO po bago ako dito may applicant po

Gaano po ba katagal bago po makatanggap ng email..senend po namin ung application namin nung may 28 po and were still waiting...tsaka pwede ko rin po ba malaman ung meaning ng mga terminologies po salamat

It seems spouses who submitted their application directly to Manila instead of the Mississauga office in Canada are receiving their Visa's exponentially faster? Could this be why my application which was received November 2014 is still in process while I read submission after submission of people applying in 2015 already being issued their Visa's?

Did applying at Mississauga which I thought would be the more proper way to submit this application the reason why so many of us are waiting so long while others are processed quickly by avoiding Canada all together with this process?

I am pissed off and frustrated, did submitting here in Canada actually going to cost me an extra year away from my wife?

Hi there i just wanna know how long will takes before i can get my passport back together with my visa? I have received a call form the visa office manila last week..i have sent my passport on that date also..thanks

hi! As far as i know, all spousal applications are sent to missisauga, except for special cases wherein their applications are transferred to ottawa.

If this is true then we could've done the same thing.. :( do you know someone who sent their app straight to CEM? as applicants shempre we are following the instructions to avoid anything that would cause delays.. i was really surprised at the timelines of others who applied Jan of this yr who got their VOH already . i mean of course we are happy for them and wish ours will be as fast as theirs. i just hope that we are informed that we can send the app directly to CEM (if that was really the case) . my two cents.

Good luck to us!
