Hello Everyone!

I need your advise badly pls. I am a Canadian/Filipino citizen living in Manila and have sponsored my wife. We recently checked her CIC status online and this is what we got.

"We received application for permanent residence on April 6, 2011.

We started processing application on November 17, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

It is now November 24, 2011 and still we have not gotten any email, mail or phone call from the office. Can you please advise. Thanks much!

all you have to do is wait and wait, they started to process my application last oct. 25 but i received my visa last nov. 17........

tama si KMAEP iba iba ang rules kada province like sa winnipeg pwede mo ayusin ng isang araw but here sa Ontario no iba dito...

List 1 – Proof of Citizenship or OHIP-Eligible Immigration Status is:
A document to prove you are a Canadian Citizen or hold another immigration status that makes you eligible for Ontario health insurance coverage. -- eto ung LANDING PAPER

List 2 – Proof of Residency in Ontario is:
A document that displays your name and current home address and confirms that your primary place of residence is in Ontario. - ang pinakamadali dito BANK STATEMENT (savings or chequing accounts) pwede rin Ontario Driver's Licence

List 3 – Support of Identity is:
A document that displays both your name and your signature. --- LANDING PAPER or PASSPORT

yan din ung form na ibibgay sayo sa Airport after ng immigration bago ka lumabas sa may baggage area.

Am I eligible for OHIP right away or do I have to wait?
There may be a three-month waiting period for your OHIP coverage.

Generally speaking, if you are a newcomer to Ontario, or a former resident returning here to live after being out of the country for more than seven months, the waiting period begins on the date you establish or re-establish residence in Ontario. You may also be required to be present in Ontario for 153 days of the first 183 days immediately following the date residence is established in Ontario (you cannot be absent for more than 30 days during the first 6 months of residence).

Congratz!! Visa na yan. U just have to wait.. Ako nga One week after decision made na recieve pasport ko with visa on it.

naipasa ko na reqments for my son's citizenship card last nov.23 lang..di naman pala nila kukunin ang original docs noh? tiningnan lang nila..sila din ngxerox..kaloka mg dala din ako xerox copy..wla ata sila tiwla sa xerox ng iba? lol..
